100-Word Paragraph

It’s almost Christmas time; the movies already starting to play. Little kids are now dreaming of the big red man and his eight tiny reindeer upon their roof. Carolers begin singing even though the temperature is cold. Snow falls on trees while covering the ground white. Ornament s are getting hung on Evergreen branches. Lists have been written, checked twice, then placed in front of the fire. On the morning of Dec. 25th children wake up early to see gifts left behind from their favorite friend, cookies disappeared, carrots bit, milk drank. We celebrate the most important present, Jesus’ Birthday.

What Button????

I’m a circular object, who is the color of snow. I come from a little town in Wyoming. I use to live on an old woman’s jacket. The jacket that I belonged to had a flower design, and so do I. The old woman’s fingers would run across my ruff surface, that has indents and bumps. One cold morning the woman woke up very early and pulled me through my slit in the jacket, she was going to Pennsylvania to visit her son. My string started to loosen as we traveled. On the train ride I began to fall, fall and hit the dirty floor, it stained my perfect snow coloring now I look like sand. As the train halted and people were walking right by me, their feet made the outside of my flower smoother, not as rough. I looked like a sand colored flower upon my side because I couldn’t lay flat. I can still remember the old woman and her pulling me on each morning to keep her jacket upon her body, and her old fingers running across my bumpy top and my flowered curves around the edges. I miss the sweater I once belonged to.

The egg drop

Today is the day of my egg drop in science. I hope that my egg will not crack, because if it does then I get points off. Irene and I made this container. We took one dixie cup and put toothpicks through it, it needed to be strong to hold up a egg. Then around that dixie cup we glued cut straws around the edges. We then took another dixie cup and shredded paper and shoved it inside. Then we placed the egg on top of the paper and put two rubberand around the whole cup to keep the eg in place. Then we glued a plastic lid to the bottom of dixie cup. Then we placed the tops of both dixie cups together, the one wit the egg on top. On the bottom of the toothpick cup we glued two weights and a blown up sandwich bag. Then we took string and connected the whole thing together. I HOPE IT WORKS!!!
Also today in science I have a test. I'm nervous for it, I need to do well!!

A Tragic Wedding

"Hi honey, I'm home," Molly said coming into her house, "Are you here?"
She walked in and dropped her stuff by the door. She walked around the kitchen with a lump in her throat.
"Isn't he such a good husband, he left me a note," she said.
Her eyes watered as they read the paper twice. Her leg started to collapse and her head sank into her hands. The phone started to rung. She quietly stammered to the phone and clicked talk.
"H-hello" she sniffed.
"Molly? What's wrong?" Her sister questioned.
"Beth, he left me. Roger left me." Molly cried as her wedding rings fell onto the counter.
***
The cool breeze wiped his face as he placed the bee net upon his head. It was just him, the bees, and the summer sun. He went to work, scraping the bee honey. He worked for a few hours on the been honey and sweat fell off his thin face.
"Michael! It's time to bring the honey jars to the store." His assistant yelled.
He filled the truck with the honey jars and pulled himself onto the driver’s seat/ He drove down the dirt driveway and got onto the highway. He came to a halt in front of the grocery store. He got out of the truck and lifted the jars out, he stammered throws the store as a women was coming out. They hit and the jars went crashing to the ground.
“I’m so sorry” she spoke
“It’s alright, what your name?” he asked.
“Molly, and yours?” she said through a smile.
“Michael, my name is Michael.”
“Well Molly, do you want to go to get some coffee?”
“Sure”
They talked for hours about everything and anything. Their conversations didn’t end there.
***
“Molly! Honey, It’s five hours before the wedding. Michael is already at the church, we need to leave to go to the hairdresser now!” Molly’s mom yelled up the steps.
“I’m here I’m here!” Molly said running down the stairs a few seconds later.
They drove to the best hair dressers in town. They had a seat ready for Molly and everything.
“I want an up-do for my wedding.” Molly told the hairdresser
The hair dresser nodded and went to work. She pulled and placed every hair on Molly’s head. Molly closed her eyes and let the hairdresser work. A cold hand touched her shoulder about an hour later.
“AH!! What did you do to me? My hair is red!” Molly screamed.
The hairdresser looked puzzled at Molly, she didn’t know what to say.
“Fix it!” Molly demanded, “I’m not going to my wedding looking like this!”
The hairdresser cocked her head and started motioning with her hands.
“You’re no help!” Molly said as she stormed to the front desk, “I want my money back!”
“Oh dear. I’m very sorry ma’am, she def. Oh my um, we will make it look fine for your wedding, no charge.” said the lady at the front desk.
“No forget it, We going somewhere else.” Molly yelled rushing out the door.
Molly walked frustrated across the street, her mom yelling after.
“Honey, listen. They said they’re sorry. Plus, they are going to fix it. Just come back inside.? her mom pleaded with the door to the hairdressers open.
“Fine” Molly whispered as a truck came swerving down the road.
“AH!” Molly yelled as car lights filled her eyes as she fell to the road.
“Call the hospital. Molly Oh my Lord!” Molly’s mom’s faintly whispered into her ear, then everything went silent.

November

CRAP! I have to do PJAS, I'm NOT looking forward to that!! It's now November, which means COLD, and I hate the cold. The only good thing in November is when the leaves change. I think that it's pretty when they change. It also mean that winter is coming. I love to see the snow fall in the winter and the snow on all the houses.
